Alexandra Tejada

Alexandra Tejada is a passionate LA-based young artist who studied at Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), and went on to receive scholarships to pursue her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and Digital Arts at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Her CalArts debut performance was Valentina in the premiere of Marabella by Boni B. Alvarez. She graduates May 2025.

Alexandra has starred and performed in several independent films. This includes two starring roles in Saadhvish Films "Those Seven Steps" and "Beyond Seven Heavens". Alexandra was honored to be the lead of “The Daughter”, and premiered in NYC at Chelsea Film Festival and NewFilmmakers NY.

As a filmmaker, Alexandra has worked professionally in roles such as director, producer, and production designer. Her directing debut “Baude Dizmorfia” tells the story of body-image and mental health while growing up as a Filipino-American.

Alexandra has released music across all streaming platforms, her single “Checkmate” was released last year and she and will be announcing her debut EP very soon. She has performed at venues throughout LA, including Santa Monica’s “The Mint”, Hollywood’s “Adult’s Only” with Breaking Sound, and the Paladar Space in DTLA.

She plays five instruments, writes songs daily, and has painted almost every furniture piece in her bedroom.
